Based on our vast industry experience, we have found that most staffing firms’ first complaint is around getting reliable, easily consumable, and visually appealing analytics out of their applicant tracking system (ATS). Since that was a reoccurring complaint from most staffing firms we surveyed, to include one of our very own complaints, we immediately wanted to find a data solution to solve this problem.

We have branded our subscription model: Reporting As A Service (RaaS). Chameleon provides your company with a suite of staffing reports with some customization included based on the varying plans offered. This RAAS model allows us to address some of your immediate pain points around reporting while building a warehouse model that will allow you to scale as needed. Most companies want to have a single source of truth but cannot afford to build out a warehouse environment. We built it and it’s there to grow with your business as your budget allows you to push your other data sources into the cloud to fully automate all of your reporting needs. With our model, we will fully manage any updates to the API connectors, all support related issues, provide the necessary licensing and cloud storage as well fully secure cloud environment where your data will live. Our clients wanted an easy model with limited hassle and an easy set-up at an affordable price, so that is what we did! We met their needs, we'll meet yours.

The solution we found to resolve many staffing firm’s reporting frustrations was to create customizable reporting solutions. And, so we did!

We started by building a custom API connector for our applicant tracking system, Bullhorn, which allowed us to pull our data. We then solved some of the issues we had with Bullhorn’s system around tracking historical data and then built a suite of reports pulling data directly within our own data warehouse in the secured Azure Cloud. We then continued bringing other data sources into our warehouse environment such as QuickBooks, BBO, and others. This allowed us to create a single source of truth for all of our data and varying reporting needs. This solution provided us with the ability to share important and common insights within every layer of our company. Plus, the reports were automated, near real-time, and fully dynamic. We have no more complaints about inaccurate data, differing numbers on reports, or frustration around the inability to dig deeper into certain areas of the report without going back into the system to export another report. Everything was there at our fingertips!

Chameleon's goal is to increase engagement as we convey information with accuracy and simplicity. Our goal is to empower you through data by automating all your reporting needs within one environment, a data warehouse. We are building a data warehouse model that will allow you to scale as needed. Ideally, you are using comprehensive, dynamic reports produced straight from various data sources with no manual efforts or compressing of multiple reports. Most companies want to have a single source of truth but cannot afford to build out a warehouse environment. We built it and it is there to grow with your business as your budget allows you to push your other data sources into the cloud to fully automate all of your reporting needs. With our model, we will fully manage any updates to the API connectors, all support related issues, provide the necessary licensing and a fully secured cloud environment where your data will live.
The Chameleon Shared Data Infrastructure (SDI) allows you to integrate all of your data. Our architecture is based on the Azure Cloud, SSAS Tabular, and Power BI.
The main differences with these two packages are the amount of customization you receive for your suite of reports, your data refresh cadence, and the support hours.
Some companies prefer to have all their reports built for their specific needs and this requires a heavy amount of customization. Also, companies might want to pull several data sources into their warehouse to automate other reporting needs that come from their CRM, back office solution, financial software, etc. With this type of work we go through an estimation process and provide a proposal as defined in a Statement of Work (SOW) for the time needed to build their custom BI solution. Working with data makes it difficult to provide a fixed bid pricing model. Getting your reporting right is a very iterative process. The first time you see a new report, it may be light years ahead of where you were without it, but once you start using it, most clients discover there are ways to improve it, data or analytics to add to it, business rules to implement, or other things to consider. With our expertise in the field of staffing, we can kick-off the project with advanced knowledge of the analytics typically used in this business, which means we will do it in far less time than most any other BI companies, but the truth is that every company is different, and we would rather set expectations ahead of time.
Adding new data sources is an additional request, which will require a T&M (Time & Materials) estimate. These additional needs would be considered a custom request and will be bid using the same format that we do for all our custom reporting needs. The pricing for your hosting plan may change as well due to the number of new data sources being pulled into your warehouse environment thus increasing your storage cost. Again, this would all be discussed, reviewed and agreed upon through a proposal process.
