Chameleon Technologies is searching for an R&D Fabrication and Assembly Specialist for a contract role. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High Precision Assembler and Fabricator to join an R&D team. This role requires a keen focus on precision assembly and a strong capability in part fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and innovative environment.
You will be expected to work on-site in at the Bothell, WA facility at least 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-precision assembly tasks, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and specification standards.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed for assembly and additional projects, incorporating skills in welding, machining, and other fabrication techniques.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to identify and solve complex assembly challenges.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and needs.
- Engage in continuous improvement of assembly and fabrication processes.
- Support the development and scale-up of unique, first-of-its-kind clean energy technology.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in precision assembly and fabrication.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Fusion360; high competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work well within an ambiguous work environment.
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant technical certifications or welding experience.
- Experience in an R&D or clean energy environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new and varying projects.
The hourly pay range for this role is $22-30.
