Overview:
Our client is a leading retail company committed to delivering the best value to our members. We are currently embarking on a significant project involving the implementation of a third-party SaaS vendor onboarding application with integration to SAP. As we enter the final phases of this project, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team, bridging the gap until its completion in February.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing complex software development projects with a keen understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, task schedules, and work breakdown structures to ensure the successful execution of project phases.
- Task Management: Oversee and manage individual tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate strong working relationships with business partners, fostering a collaborative environment that enables effective communication and teamwork.
- Integration Expertise: While SAP knowledge is not mandatory, the ability to oversee the integration of a third-party SaaS application with SAP is a plus.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor project progress, track milestones, and report status updates to stakeholders. Ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
- Enterprise Experience: Bring extensive experience in managing projects within large enterprise environments, understanding the complexities and nuances of working in a big company.
- Supporting Business Partners: Act as a dedicated support resource for our business partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Critical Qualifications:
- Software Development Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects, including familiarity with various SDLC methodologies.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to establish and maintain alliances with business partners.
- Project Planning: Adept at creating detailed project plans, task schedules, and work breakdown structures. Proficient in task management and follow-up.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report project status effectively and manage individual tasks.
- Enterprise Experience: Previous experience working in large enterprise environments, understanding the intricacies of such organizations.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers flexibility, allowing for both onsite and remote work. There is currently no mandate for contractors to work onsite.
