Chameleon Technologies is searching for a Systems Architect for a hybrid role.  This position can be in either Dallas, Chicago or Issaquah, WA.  The eCommerce Website Development Systems Architect is responsible for the overall design of a product and the definition of the technical blueprints/designs to fulfill specific requirements. They provide technical expertise to Product Managers and the Development Pods as they reconcile the users’ needs and requirements with what the engineers have determined to be doable within the given (engineering) constraints. They work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, POD teams and Product Owners to support the implementation and delivery of new and/or enhanced capabilities. Lastly, they are responsible for defining non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, resilience, etc.) to ensure the scalability and reliability of a given product within a complex ecosystem.
The Systems Architect should be a passionate, driven, self-starting problem-solver who is comfortable with change and excels in a fast-paced environment. They will have deep knowledge and experience working with eCommerce technologies and Cloud Microservices development – bonus for REACT technologies. They will have practical experience in a broad range of skills from database architecture and management to security, performance analysis, continuous integration and deployment, and support of large distributed system operations. This individual will be a proven mentor who is able to work effectively cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams, and will quickly develop an advanced understanding of business requirements and how technology fits those needs.

Salary target: $140-$185K
