Chameleon Technologies is partnering with one of Canada's Top 10 Insurance Brokerages to find an experienced Senior Payroll Manager. Our client is a dynamic, fast-paced insurance brokerage experiencing growth and seeking to expand their team. Position Overview:
As the Senior Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing accurate and timely payroll services to employees.
Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and quarterly payroll for salaried and commission-based employees using QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now.

Manage new hires, terminations, and other payroll-related changes in QuickBooks and ADP.

Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) in accordance with the Employment Standards Act and Service Canada requirements.

Address and resolve payroll inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.

Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, including processing salaries and commissions.

Completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or in progress.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now.

Strong knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act and federal/provincial tax regulations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Location: You will be required to work at our client's beautiful office in Concord, Ontario, Canada. After you have familiarized yourself with the role, you have the option to work a hybrid schedule with 2 days WFH.
