Her background as a strategic HR leader, collaborating with business partners allowed her to create and implement strategies for creating diverse, inclusive, equitable environments, developing and retaining talent, and boosting people’s engagement.
Today, she is the Founder of her own company, Laura Espriu Consulting and the creator of the Dare with Grace™ program. The program is designed to inspire women to boost their confidence from the outside-in by developing their leadership skills.

“I have always been passionate about helping people grow – helping them figure out how to grow. At the end of the day, if you want to change the future, you have to start with young people.” Chelsea Cooper is a Partner Human Resources Associate in the Finance Division at Starbucks and the Co-Chair of Women’s Impact Network. She’s full of great advice on career development for young people and believes strongly in gender equity. Chelsea had various career changes but ultimately found what “fit” her core desire, which was to help people and make a significant difference in their life despite thinking that she was conforming to the stereotypes of pursuing a job that was more “emotional” because she is a woman. To young women, she says to be careful of the subtle things that people say or remark. “Don’t let people tell you that you can’t do something. Period.”

VP of Community Engagement & Marketing at WTIA, Julie Pham, Ph.D. shares her on-the-go learner attitude. The storyteller describes herself as a “dot connector” and has some helpful advice on business, negotiation, relationships, and volunteering! She believes that being vocal gets you rewarded and that taking the opportunities that come by is worth pursuing because you never know the connections you’ll make and the people you’ll meet. Her diverse background, networking skills, and project management abilities got her to transition from the business and journalism world to the tech industry.

“I very early on demonstrated that I didn’t have to be treated differently because I was a female so I never wanted to stand out because I was female. I don’t want to get picked because I’m a female, I want to be picked because I’m qualified” says AVP Device Development, Shannon Eubanks from L’Oreal. She knew that she wanted to be in the technical world since her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and it all stemmed from passion.
